Ink Jet Cartridges THE PRINT HEAD ON MY INK JET CARTRIDGE IS CLOGGED. WHAT DO I DO? If the print head is part of the cartridge: Immerse print head in shallow dish of warm water approx. 1/4"deep. Let it soak for 15 minutes. Remove the cartridge from the dish and gently blot the water that remains on the cartridge with a damp cloth. Make sure it is dry before reinstalling it in the printer. Run the print head cleaning function 2 or 3 times. Check your printer's manual to find out how to perform this operation. Repeat if necessary If these steps don't do the job, the print head may be worn out. A new cartridge will be necessary.
